The Actors’ Lab is taking acting to the next level in Liverpool
The Actors’ Lab is now opening its doors in Liverpool. To launch the school, The Actors’ Lab is hosting an Open Day that offers a complimentary taster session to anyone interested in joining the school. The classes will launch in January 2016 for applicants over 18 years.
The company was founded in 2011 by husband and wife duo, and patriarchs of the infamous northern acting dynasty, Actor and Director David Fleeshman (who recently toured for two years with National Theatre’s production of WarHorse) and Actress Sue Jenkins (known for Jackie Corkhill in Brookside and Gloria Todd in Coronation Street). Their combined experience and wealth of knowledge has set the benchmark for cultivating and nurturing emerging talent in the North West.
As one of the UK’s most innovative acting schools, The Actors’ Lab enables actors of every level and ability to develop their skills in all areas of performance technique, including TV and Film acting, script analysis and characterisation. Offering part-time, professional actors training for emerging talent of all ages.
All classes are taught by industry professionals. Meaning students learn from tutors who actively participate in the trade and receive insights about the opportunities presenting themselves in the industry in real time.
The 90 minute taster session will be taken by the founders of the company, Sue and David, and will take place 7pm-9pm Thursday, 10th December 2015, Liverpool City Centre, ahead of the official launch of the classes on Thursday nights in January.
