Founded by Sue Jenkins and David Fleeshman, The Actors’ Lab is the culmination of their combined experience of over 70 years in the industry.

It is one of the UK’s most innovative acting schools, offering acting classes in Manchester and Cheshire, enabling actors of every level of ability to develop their skills in all areas of performance technique. We combine a wealth of experience and knowledge from all sectors of the industry to offer exciting and insightful drama workshops.

The Actors’ Lab incorporates the business of acting with detailed study of the craft. We encourage individuality and thinking ‘outside of the box’. It doesn’t matter whether it’s an aspiring career choice or merely a hobby, in our drama school, we will show you how to reach your full potential.

From a wealth of industry experience and pool of talented actors, came the birth of Actors’ Lab Management in 2012.

The agency formed with a view to harnessing experienced and positive talent of all ages, mainly from Manchester but also across the UK, who are looking for a fair agency to provide excellent representation and support.

We select the right people to join us, consistently promote our clients, and seek out every opportunity to present ourselves to those companies not yet aware of us.

As an agency, we know that we can only be as good as the people we represent. We are therefore selective in our representation. We limit our client numbers whilst establishing good communications with production companies and casting agents. We usually only represent clients which have studied with The Actors’ Lab as this gives us the opportunity to get to know them and their work in detail.
